After closing the beta applications with 200 applicants yesterday, we’re pleased to launch our public beta test to those who applied.

You can launch our beta site at https://envision.chartex.pro

The sign-in process is simple, connect your wallet, choose the account holding the minimum CHART balance that you completed in the application form, sign our challenge request, and you’re in.

This will ONLY work for those pre-enrolled. Beta applications are currently closed, but we’ll review this to increase capacity once we start to receive feedback from our current participants.

What can you do in the beta?

Most importantly, the ability to save your progress through multiple chart layouts is here!

It’s important to recognise how the chart library saves your progress — they’re not strictly saved charts, rather saved charting sessions. This means it’s possible to quickly save where you were and pick up later, without remembering what you were doing and what symbol and timeframe you were on. You can of course save multiple sessions, and this is how we’re bringing you the ability to switch between charts as often as required.

The current session is shown at the top right of your chart once you’ve saved for the first time.

You can also click it at any time and the cloud will turn to a tick to indicate it’s been successful in saving your progress.

If you want to start a new session, choose ‘Make a copy’, give it a name and then you can start working from here independently of your previous session.

You can switch between sessions by choosing ‘Load Chart Layout’.

You can see and change between all your saved layouts from this screen, but make sure you’ve saved any changes you might have. The cloud icon will appear with a dotted outline if there’s pending changes not saved.

If you don’t wish to save a chart, but want to retain a set of indicators and their configuration(s) for future use, you can save an Indicator Template instead.

We’ve also overhauled the ‘Show Trades’ interface to make it more user friendly, show detail more clearly and to work across a range of devices. We’ll continue to bring improvements to this including live updates for trades in the near future.

You can share any feedback from the test itself via the feedback form (direct link) or below:

Thank you for your continued support and we hope you enjoy the ChartEx Beta experience.

Important Disclaimer: We do not guarantee the functionality present in the beta test, these features are still considered experimental, and whilst we believe they are robust, errors can and should be expected. Unexpected or planned downtime may be necessary as part of the test processes and your charts may not be saved. Whilst we will make every effort to transfer your data as we come out of beta, we cannot guarantee your charts will be available when we take this to production. Metamask is fully supported, other wallets are also considered experimental. Personal Sign, the method used to authenticate your wallet against our servers is entirely ‘Off Chain’ — it cannot create transactions on your behalf and does not connect to the Ethereum network, it is purely to validate you as the owner of a given wallet. We rely on your feedback to pick up on issues we have not come across ourselves in testing. The Beta platform is not running on our primary server infrastructure — it’s been tested for performance, but we cannot guarantee the responsiveness will be the same as the main ChartEx experience.
